Starlight Travels & Tours Limited was incorporated in Nigeria under the Companies and Allied Matters Decree of the Nigeria Corporate Affairs Commission on the 6th of June 2000. But in reality the company has existed before this day and has been engaged in Tourism & Travel related business under its parent company. Starlight Nigeria Limited, which was incorporated in Nigeria in 1995. The initial objective of the company is to excel in the area of travels & tours operations and set a pace for efficiency, effectiveness, competitiveness and excellence in Traveling Agency business. Today this is evident in view of our fast expanding clients base and boosted sales record. Our clear transparency in dealing with clients and airlines alike has been our major asset, which is responsible for our position as one of the leading Traveling agencies in this region.
The company was accredited as an approved agent by International Air Transport Association (IATA) from Geneva accredited the company, as an approved agent with license No.59-205920 in order to operate as a travel agent.
THE COMPANY AND ITS PHILOSOPHY
The articles and Memorandum of Association Incorporating the Company has the objective of establishment a company that is base on effectiveness and efficiency in undertaking it’s obligation to clients, and operation subsidiaries of the company that are profitable both within and outside Nigeria.
The primary objective of the company is to provide client with expert service(s) to ensure delivery of services on time and within budget. Also to contribute to the nation development and to minimize or eliminate waste of resources in order to meet the present-day travels & tours needs of public and private sector. The company therefore aims at processes and activities that will improve efficiency and effectiveness in order to meet the ever-tightening requirement of changing time demands. And also to provide and implement measures that will give the clients a general and cost advantage enhancement
